ABOUT THE PHOTOGRAPHER
A native of Wilmington Delaware, Jeffrey Batt first started taking pictures in 2004 with a point and shoot digital camera. A graphic designer by degree, he has applied his strong compositional skills with line, color, pattern, balance, symmetry and negative space to 'paint' with a camera. He is following in the footsteps of his father, who worked for Kodak as a grad school student in the 1970s and once had a passion for photographing plants and wildlife. Jeff enjoys the rich history and natural surroundings of the Delaware, Maryland and Pennsylvania region and strongly believes that great photographers can find 1,000,000 subjects within a mile of their homes, even in their own backyards. "There are universes to be found within the tiniest of things, which so many people overlook and ignore. Don't go through life with blinders on to what's around you. You're really missing out."
